It is that time of year once again… The 2023 Backpack Project is under full swing! The Backpack Project was created to encourage North Korean students and families resettled in the U.S. as they prepare for the back-to-school season. Traditionally in the past, we have sent backpacks filled with school-supplies, snacks, and encouragement notes; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have switched to sending e-giftcards to better meet the unique needs and challenges of the community we serve, instead.

Currently, we are serving about 40 students nationwide, ranging from K-12, college and graduate school to vocational programs. All donations are due July 31, 2023 and are tax deductible.
