India 2025

We are excited to share that this coming February, from the 14th to the 22nd, we will be going on another short-term mission trip to India! Our team will be traveling to the state of Karnataka to continue our ministry among the Devadasi women—those who have been or are still trapped in a life of temple prostitution.

Each year, we host the Beloved Conference, where women from villages all over northern Karnataka are invited by our ministry partners to hear the Gospel and experience the love of Christ. However, next year, we are doing something different. Instead of asking them to come to us, we are going to them.

During this mission trip, our team will visit several villages where these women live, sharing hope, love, and the message of freedom found in Jesus. We are hoping for greater connections as we go directly into their communities.

We ask for your prayers as we prepare—pray for the team, for the women we will meet, and for God’s hand to move mightily in Karnataka. If you feel led to join this mission team, please speak to Pastor Hudson or Pastor Cathy. We intend to limit this year's team size to 12.

PSALT Box of Hope

PSALT ("salt") is holding their 14th annual Box of Hope Christmas care package program for North Korean refugees living across the U.S.! 

New Mercy members participate in this program every year and we hope many of you can join in to write a Christmas card, make a donation, or get your FG involved to write Christmas cards together! Please try to get all your donations/cards in by Dec. 8th. The deadline is technically the 9th but since Michelle is at our church just find her and give it to her on Sunday. 

Michelle from our church is the Founder of PSALT so if you have any questions or suggestions about this project or North Korea missions in general you can go talk to her.

More info about Box of Hope and a drop off box for cards will be at the welcoming table!

NM Pickleball Tournament

Mercy Life and Connections ministries are hosting New Mercy's first church-wide pickleball tournament on Nov 16 at 2:30PM! Early bird registration is $20 per person, registration fee will increase to $25 after Nov 3. Skills of all level are welcome - pickleball is a very easy sport to pick up and we will have a professional coach on site who will spend the first 30 min teaching you how to play. This event is open to EVERYONE!
 
We will have prizes and raffles and snacks.
 
Location: Prestige Pickleball Club in Northvale

"Send Proof" Movie Screening

Send Proof is a movie and documentary exploring whether miracles and healings still actually happen today. And why don't we hear more about them or get more medical proof on healings that happen. The director is Elijah Stevens who is a pastor, author, and researcher. And his main passion is bridging the intellectual and supernatural through media. 

New Mercy will be collaborating with PursuitNYC to host a screening for this documentary on October 25th (Friday) at 7:30 at FDU auditorium. There will be a time for Q&A with Elijah Stevens and ministry time afterwards to pray for healing as well. So please feel free to invite those exploring faith or are in need of healing.
